The Rebels offense found its rhythm against Powell, scoring five touchdowns in a 35-0 win at Panthers Stadium.
The defense flexed its muscle to get the shutout against Powell, holding the Panthers under 200 yards of total offense and five first downs.
West senior QB Zach Harshey threw two touchdown passes, one to Jermaine “Boom” Buchannon and another to Isaiah Ruby. Tailback Jason Eskridge ran for two touchdowns to lead the Rebels ground attach. Hayden Shymlock also ran for a touchdown.
The Rebels have next weekend off before hosting South-Doyle at Bill Wilson Field in a key region matchup.
